Google Launched New Search-Based Keyword Tool
Here’s something for you website owners, blog owners, and article marketers…
Check this out: http://www.google.com/sktool/
If you’re doing any sort of keyword research, this is a really cool free keyword tool that you can use to do some snooping around.
All you need to do is type in a website address and Google will show you a large list of keywords that Google feels the website is about. Now understand that this is brand new and in beta, so you may get some strange non-matching results for a few keywords I noticed.
You can also see how much it would cost you per click on AdWords, and you can also add your own keywords or phrases to your search to get laser-targeted keywords, phrases, etc.
If you want to dive down even deeper, you can change the categories on the left and also click on “More Filters” to really get down into the nitty-gritty.
Pretty cool stuff.
I typed in one of my niche website addresses and was AMAZED by some of the keywords and phrases that were displayed - some of which gave me a few new ideas. :) Check it out! http://www.google.com/sktool/

Hmm it seems like a lesser offering to the keyword tool built into Adwords. Sounds like googles trying real hard to get people to advertise on its platform

Hey Myron,
Ha ha - yes, the more tools offered, the more people they’ll attract. Just another step in what I believe is the Google take-over plan - which I talk about on: http://www.whackedoutmarketing.com/62/small-niche-blogs-being-eaten-up-by-blogging-networks
