Before I begin to expose the insider information, it’s important that you learn a little about the background first… It was about a year ago the picture was taken on the left.  Kristin (my wife) and I had just finished eating a great dinner at an incredible restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida.

It was the prefect ending to an incredible week.  The last few days we were there, we rented a convertible and zipped up and down the coast checking out mansions, yachts, had dinner with friends at incredible restaurants, went on a boat ride, and on and on.  But that was all for fun.  I worked hard for the first several days I was there.

So what were we doing in Florida for a week?

I got the opportunity to spend several days at Rich Schefren’s office.  Some days I was there until 1 or 2 AM.  Although I cannot disclose the reason as to why I was there, I can tell you that I was very, very impressed by Rich, his business, and the way he thinks.  No wonder many of the top Internet Marketers in the world have paid Rich tens of thousands of dollars to pick his brain.

Instantly 84 results showed up. In the results, I can view an image of the site, the name of the company, a description, which Affiliate Network they are a part of, the payout, and the details.  I can then click on any of these to sort out the results.

So to test this out, I clicked on “Payout” to sort from highest to lowest.  Within two seconds I can see that Discover Card Motiva: Cash Back Bonus offers the highest payout ($49 to $56 per app).  I can also see that they are available on one network.

I then click on “details” and I can see that that the highest paying Affiliate Network for this offer is CX Digital Media.

I can then “Add to Favorites” and I can even “Preview Landing Page”.  Are you starting to see the picture here?  No more searching through 10+ Affiliate Networks looking for products/offers that have the highest payouts.  This is cool.

Where Nitro Quattro Got Started - I Was There!

Believe it or not, Nitro Quattro got started accidently.  It was at a business conference (Russell Brunson’s September, 2007 Systems Seminar) more than 2,000 miles away from my home that I happened to be attending.  Yes, I was there!  In fact, the photo below was taken just a day before the conference that took place in Idaho for a couple of days.

Choices.  We all make them each and every day. XsitePro Website Builder Or WordPress Blog?

If you’re planning on creating a website on a topic and you plan on adding a lot of content overtime, I’d suggest using WordPress to create a blog.  The reason why I’d suggest WordPress instead of XSitePro is because you’ll want people to keep coming back to your blog, post comments, and become engaged.  Compare that to a sales letter for a product built using XsitePro, people may land on your website, purchase your product, and never return.

WordPress allows you to build up a following, create a community, encourages others to share their thoughts and feedback on your blog posts.  With a static XsitePro website, you will not have the interaction with your visitors.

Search Engine Optimization: XsitePro Vs. WordPress

Now, as far as Search Engine Optimization, both XsitePro and WordPress pack a powerful punch, but there’s a lot more to do on the WordPress side, like installing plug-ins, adding tags to your posts, etc.  With XsitePro, everything is included; there are no extra plug-ins needed.  Everything is ready to go the moment you download it to your computer.

I’ve had some great success over the years ranking on the first page of the search engines with websites I created using XsitePro.  They have a very cool built-in SEO tool that will help you tweak your pages so that your pages are optimized for the keywords or phrases you’re targeting.

XsitePro really has some very impressive SEO tools that’ll take your SEO to new levels.  You have charts, graphs, and everything you need to ensure your pages get ranked.  I am a testimony for the fact that they work - and do what they say they do.

XsitePro Vs. WordPress When You’re On The Go

I admit, there is a big downfall that makes XsitePro a little tough for those who travel or own more than one, two, or three computers like yours truly. With WordPress, you can access your blog from any computer and add content at any time.

However, with XsitePro, you are stuck to just one computer - although you can have XSP installed on a few computers, it makes managing and editing a tough battle.

I have four computers I bounce around from, but I’ve made the switch to Mac recently for 90% of my work. However, when I’m working from home (which is 95% of the time - or else it’s at Barnes and Noble), I have both my Mac running and my PC running next to me. My day-to-day operations and email runs on my Mac, and a few PC-related programs and XsitePro runs on my PC.

It’s actually easier that way for me and helps keep me organized. All my files, documents, etc. that I use for XsitePro is on one computer, and everything else is on the other. (My other computers are used for other things like Camtasia video creation, which I do on my desktop.)

So when I travel, I of course bring my Mac with me. That means that I cannot touch any of my websites that I’ve created with XsitePro. And frankly, that hasn’t cause any problems in the 3-4 years that I’ve been using XsitePro to build websites.

XsitePro Vs. WordPress: Ease Of Use

I admit - I’m far from a techie.  The only HTML I know is how to bold words.  I couldn’t write a line of code if you paid me $10,000 to do so.  So, for those of you who are technologically challenged like me, which solution is best?

Hands down, I would go with XsitePro on this one.  I was able to create a website using XsitePro within just one hour of buying their website builder software.  It’s simple to use, easy to figure out, and it comes with a MASSIVE manual showing you how to do everything.  And I mean everything.

My first few experiences with WordPress were, well… not so good.  I spent days trying to get my first WordPress blog up and running.  I couldn’t figure out how to upload everything onto my server and then when it came to installing the 20-30 plug-ins I wanted, I kept breaking my blog so things wouldn’t work correctly.

I finally gave up and hired out the WordPress work - and still do so to this day.  Although it’s now been a couple of years since I’ve started to use WordPress and I can now get a blog up and running and install all of the plug-ins myself, it takes me 10 times longer to do it than having someone who knows what they are doing.

So as far as ease of use, XsitePro is the winner here.  Both do have some learning curves, but with WordPress, the curves are very sharp and full of jagged knives sticking out at every corner that could kill your blog if you’re not 100% sure about what you’re doing.  So if you want a blog and you’ve never set up a WordPress blog before, hire someone to do it for you.

Google Knol has launched in beta and I’ve been testing a few things out in a niche market. Although Google announced the launch of Knol several months ago, there have been a quiet buzz building in the background. Why?

Think about this.

Google Knol Vs. Wikipedia… Round 1.

Do a search for nearly any keyword or topic you can think of on Google.  Let’s use the term, marketing. See who is # 1?  Yes, Wikipedia. Try another search. Let’s try, tractor. Who is number 1? Yes, Wikipedia again.

Mark my words, within the next 30-60 days you will begin to see Google Knol pages showing up in search engines, ranking in very high positions.  And frankly, I’m very excited about it.  What makes Google Knol so cool is that you can jump in and create a “Knol” on any topic in just a matter of seconds. Compare that to trying to add articles or links to Wikipedia pages only to have your post or IP address blocked.  (Ask me how I know about that one!)

So niche marketers, it looks like Google Knol is shaping up to be not just a Wikipedia killer, but also bring back the good old days when Squidoo pages were ranking on the first page of Google searches quickly.  OK, “Wikipedia killer” is a bit strong, I admit.  Google Knol won’t kill Wikipedia - let’s get that straight.  However, I do believe Google Knol pages will soon outrank Wikipedia pages for many, many topics.

Within the next few years, I predict that Google will in fact own the largest blog network in the entire world through a series of smart buy-outs and acquisitions.  And I also suspect that searches like “golf shoes” or thousands and thousands of other niche search terms will be dominated by blogs… many of which Google will own.

So between Google Knol and my prediction about Google buying massive blog networks down the road, Google would not only run the largest search engine, the largest online advertising empire, and the largest blogging network, but they would also own most of the results found within their search engine.  Think about it. Google Knol Niche Marketing

I’m sure many of you are wondering, “is there money to be made with Google Knol?” 

Well, check this out taking straight from the Google Knol site:

The Knol project is a site that hosts many knols — units of knowledge — written about various subjects. The authors of the knols can take credit for their writing, provide credentials, and elicit peer reviews and comments. Users can provide feedback, comments, and related information. Do you see what I see?  Google Knol does not have a ton of editors sitting around like Wikipedia, meaning that we have freedom to write about subjects as we see fit.  And of course, they mention that Knols are indexed by the big search engines.

Imagine the possibilities here. You’ll be able to interact with other authors who are also using Google Knol. That of course creates great opportunities seek out JV Partners.  There is of course the ability to use Google Knol to look for new niche markets to go into.  And of course, you can easily become a Google Knol author yourself and create your own Knols.

And yes… even post your affiliate links, or links to your own products.

Now, I can assure you that the last thing that Google wants to create is a massive advertising orgy with 1,000’s of people all using their knols as a medium to market, sell, pitch, and beg people to buy their products.

And of course no one would want to read that junk anyway.

What success on Google Knol will come down to is GREAT UNIQUE CONTENT. Wow, now that’s a first, huh?  This may sound familiar to you if you write your own blog or you write articles to market your products or services. Sure, you could past 200 badly written articles filled with your Affiliate links into your Knol, but I can assure you that you will not be ranked high for your keywords and you will not create any following whatsoever.

Google Knol = New Way To Make Money Online

If you’re going to jump into the Google Knol bandwagon, be prepared to do what most people are too lazy to do: research the subject you’re going to write about, provide a ton of great information, and don’t make everything sounds like a sales pitch.  By providing great content and writing correctly, you will get people to click on your links naturally anyway.

And yes, you can insert your Google AdSense code into your Knol and make the normal commissions you’d receive from AdSense running on your website or blog.  Makes sense… Google AdSense that is.
